Location: Art Gallery Shaped Poetry, edited by Glenn Todd, is a suite of 30 typographic prints, each on a different handmade paper in a wide range of typefaces and in a variety of colors. |
All Aboard! Nashville Railroads: Past, Present and Future
The exhibit will feature artifacts, documents, and photographs centered on trains and train service in and around Nashville from the middle 1800s to the present. |
Portals and Boxes by Robin Venable
Location: Case 2 Robin places figures in ornate patterns from another time. Layers of tracing paper and acrylic paint create a visual archaeology that calls the viewer deep into her work. |
Tall Tale Circus
10:30 am, 11:30 am Location: Children's Theater Come see Pecos Bill, Calamity Jane, John Henry and a surprise guest– live and in person, in this musical extravaganza for the whole family! |
Eyewitness to the News: A Chronicle of Our Times-Photos from the Nashville Banner Newspaper
Location: Courtyard Gallery The Nashville Banner "Staff" photographers recorded the daily news of the city and beyond. This exhibit showcases a sampling of their contributions to Nashville's chronicle of news and history from the 1930s – 1990s. |

Location: Gallery The Benham Avenue Group consists of four women who have been painting together since 2001. This exhibit showcases a selection of their works. |

9:00 am - 3:00 pm Location: Meeting Room, Lower Level Shop a large selection of children and adult materials as well as a limited amount of CD's. Come early for best selections, or late for “make me a deal” specials. |

Borders regular store hours Location: Borders stores in the Nashville area (West End, Brentwood, and Cool Springs) and at Borders.com Friends of Nashville Public Library is holding a Benefit Days event with Borders. All our supporters have to do is shop Borders’ vast selection. The more supporters shop, the more our organization earns. |
